The grape
Pale in colour, spicy on the nose, easy to love
Kadarka wines have a vivid, pale ruby colour, since the skin of the berries contains less colour — much like Burgundy’s Pinot Noir. The nose is spicy, rich and fruity; on the palate it is delicate and fruit-driven, with medium body, refreshing acidity and low tannins.
